Hanoi, August 21st, 2026 – The 5th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon will take place on October 4, 2026, under the theme “One Run. Millions of Advancements.” and is expected to attract 14,000 domestic and international runners. More than a large-scale sporting event, the marathon serves as a platform to unite communities around the values of health, resilience, and the pursuit of personal excellence.

As part of this year’s event, Techcom Life is supporting two meaningful initiatives that celebrate different stages of human development: the first running experiences of future generations and the record-breaking achievements of elite athletes striving to push beyond their limits.

Kids Run: Inspiring Confidence Through Every Step

Taking place on October 3, 2026, at Vincom Plaza Long Bien, Hanoi, Kids Run is designed for children aged 5 to 14, featuring two race categories of 1.5km and 3km.

Designed to be age-appropriate and engaging, Kids Run offers more than an outdoor activity. It provides young participants with an opportunity to experience the spirit of sportsmanship while developing discipline, perseverance, and self-confidence through completing their own race journey.

Through the message “Small Steps. Big Confidence.”, Techcom Life aims to support families in fostering active lifestyles, encouraging children to develop healthy habits from an early age and grow both physically and emotionally. Alongside Kids Run, Techcom Life is sponsoring the National Marathon Record-Breaking Awards within the 5th Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon.

Two awards, each worth VND 200 million, will be presented to one male and one female Vietnamese athlete who set a new national record in the 42km marathon category.

Widely regarded as the most prestigious distance in marathon running, the 42km event demands unwavering commitment, consistent training, and the determination to continually surpass one's own limits. Through this award category, Techcom Life seeks to recognize individuals who dare to pursue ambitious goals while contributing to the advancement of high-performance sports in Vietnam.
