With more than two decades of experience in international insurance and financial services, Mr. Phương has held senior leadership roles at global insurance groups including Generali and Manulife. Earlier in his career, he also served as a consultant at Willis Towers Watson, one of the world’s leading advisory firms specialising in insurance and risk management.

Keynote
At InsurTech 2026, Mr. Phương will deliver a keynote presentation titled: “From InsurTech Challenges to AI-Driven Transformation: The Current Situation in Vietnam.”

In this keynote, he will examine the current landscape of Vietnam’s insurance industry as artificial intelligence, data and digital technologies increasingly become core drivers of operational efficiency, risk management and customer experience. The session will also highlight emerging opportunities for strategic transformation across the industry.

In addition to the keynote address, Mr. Phương will also participate in a Fireside Chat titled: “From Risk Awareness to Proactive Anticipation: AI Redefining Health and Wealth Protection.”

The discussion will explore how AI, data and advanced analytics are enabling the insurance industry to move beyond reactive protection toward a more predictive and proactive approach to safeguarding customers’ health and financial wellbeing.
